On the east side of Jerusalem, just south of the Temple Mount, is an area called “The City of David.” It has been speculated that this area composes what was the original core of ancient Jerusalem. On the northeast corner of this area lie two structures, the Large Stone Structure and the Stepped Stone Structure. From biblical descriptions, it is possible to surmise that these two structures comprised the Palace of David! This contention has proponents and opposition but there is a strong case here!
